Meghan Markle wore a coral floral maternity dress as she appeared from her home in Los Angeles. Speaking today on Lorraine, Ross King spoke about a hidden detail in the jewellery Meghan wore.
In the clip, Meghan spoke about pregnancy as she prepares to welcome her second child in the coming months.
“My husband and I are thrilled to soon be welcoming a daughter,” she stated.
“It’s a feeling of joy we share with millions of other families across the world.
“When we think of her, we think of all the young women and girls around the globe who must be given the ability and the support to lead us forward.
“Their future leadership depends on the decisions we make and the actions we take now to set them up, and set all of us up, for a successful, equitable, compassionate tomorrow.
“We want to make sure that as we recover, we recover stronger. That as we rebuild, we rebuild together.”
Speaking on Lorraine today, entertainment presenter Ross discussed Meghan’s latest appearance.
While the royal shared a powerful message with her speech, her jewellery choices may also be significant.
He explained she was wearing the Cartier Tank Française watch which may have once belonged to Princess Diana.
Ross added: “She’s looking good and also people are looking at what she’s wearing.
“On her wrist it seemed to be she was wearing Princess Diana’s watch.”
The Duchess of Sussex could have made a sweet nod to her mother-in-law wearing the style of watch often worn by Diana.
Meghan also continued to support causes important to her by wearing a gold necklace named the Woman Power Charm Necklace.
“What was even more important was if you zoom in you actually see there is a pendant and that’s a combination of the Venus symbol and a protesting fist,” Ross continued.
“That’s about £102, it’s from Awe Inspired created by three time cancer survivor Jill Johnson.
“Twenty percent of each sale is donated to charity as well so, again, another good charity to support.”
The necklace, which has now sold out, was designed to show support of female empowerment.
The website description reads: “The Woman Power Goddess Charm combines the female Venus symbol with a protesting fist.
“It is embellished with a genuine purple amethyst, a protective stone associated with abundance and enlightenment.”
The Duchess of Sussex wore a poppy print dress by Carolina Herrera.
The shirt dress had long sleeves with a tie waistband.
