Chrissy Teigen Supports & Defends Meghan Markle Against Internet Troll After Duchess’ Miscarriage Reveal

Chrissy Teigen is showing her support for Meghan Markle, after the Duchess of Sussex revealed she had suffered a miscarriage earlier this summer.

In her essay for the New York Times, Meghan revealed how she knew she was losing her second child after experiencing a sharp pain.

“I dropped to the floor with him [son Archie] in my arms, humming a lullaby to keep us both calm, the cheerful tune a stark contrast to my sense that something was not right,” Meghan wrote. “I knew, as I clutched my firstborn child, that I was losing my second.”

After the revelation, many have come out to support the Duchess, including Chrissy Teigen, as she hit back at a troll over the royal’s reveal.

“Is anyone really questioning the pain and sheer awfulness of suffering a miscarriage, or are they perhaps criticizing Meghan‘s decision to write a 1,000 word op-Ed about herself?” the Twitter user who criticized the article wrote on the platform. “What does it add to the resources already available for those who go through a tragedy like this?”

Chrissy then lashed out at the poster for his remark.

“Award for today’s absolute piece of s–t goes to Marco Giannangeli,” she wrote. “Congratulations, piece of s–t.”

She added just moments later, and deleted her first reply.

Chrissy herself went through a pregnancy loss this year with her third child, a son named Jack. She shared details just like Meghan did in an article as well.

After the public reveal, it’s being reported that this is how the British royal family reacted to Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry‘s miscarriage.
