Former Strictly Come Dancing professional Janette Manrara has been left horrified after realising she had made a typo — alluding to a crude joke. It came as the dancer appeared on BBC’s Morning Live earlier today.
I’m mortified! So sorry!
Janette, 37, was joined by hosts Gethin Jones and former Coronation Street actress Kym Marsh.
Despite her appearance going well, Janette has since taken to Instagram, offering an apology after appearing to insult presenter Gethin, 43.
However, Janette was completely unaware of her error until it was pointed out by Gethin, who shared it to his Instagram Stories.
Janette had taken to her Instagram page, sharing a snap of Gethin as he presented the show but it was her caption that caught his attention.
In view of her 438,000 followers, the star captioned her post: “Suck a pro… @bbcmorninglive @gethincjones.”
Shortly afterwards, Gethin shared it to his followers alongside the caption: “How RUDE,” alongside a confused face emoji.
Noticing her error, Janette added: “That was meant to be ‘Such a pro’!!!!!!
“I’m mortified! So sorry!”
It comes after Janette recently addressed the moment she knew she had fallen in love with her husband, fellow Strictly ace, Aljaž Škorjanec, who she married in 2017.
Discussing their relationship on their new podcast, Twist and Shout, Janette admitted that their relationship sparked following a friend’s breakup.
She said that Aljaz suggested that the pair take their friend out for dinner and drinks to offer a much-needed serotonin boost.
Janette revealed that her now-husband was not sure of how to ask her out so insisted that they both needed to be there for their mutual friend.
Speaking of the night, Aljaz said: “That was the last idea I had of how to convince you to come out for a drink or some food,
“I think someone’s heartbreak, especially if it’s your friend – I know you should never really use that for any other gain, but I saw the opportunity and I ran with it.”
Janette added: “It was very creative!”
“We both [went] out with him to make sure that he had some fun and [make sure] he wasn’t too sad and that was it,” explained Aljaz.
Janette added: “That was the night because that was the first night that we weren’t out with [all our] friends and we did really sit down with him and talk about love and relationships and how hard it is to be away from families,
“And how we’ve got to be each other’s family when we’re on tour and look after each other and support each other.”
She went on to say: “That was the moment that I realised, you know what, he is such a beautiful soul, you had such beautiful things to say about life and love and marriage even, and family.
“I think that was the moment that the pin dropped!”
