Love Islands Liberty Poole so excited as she joins Dancing On Ice line-up

Liberty Poole has revealed she's the fourth official star to join the Dancing On Ice line-up.

The 22 year old, who found fame on the hit ITV dating programme Love Island, made the announcement on her Instagram feed alongside a blue glittering snap of herself.

In the caption, she told her 1.5 million followers: "I’m going to be learning to dance… on ice! Wish me luck!"

Liberty, who recently landed a £1 million deal with In The Style, added: "So excited to join the show that I’ve loved watching for year’s @dancingonice @itv," followed by two stars emojis and an ice skating shoes emoji.

Celebrity friends flocked to the comments section as Georgia Kousoulou wrote: "Amazing," with two celebration hands emojis.

Fellow former Love Islander Shaughna Phillips said: "Oh my Jesus yasssssssss!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait to watch you my ice queen!" with four red heart emojis.

Her bestie Kaz Kamwi wrote: "CAN’T WAIT!! YOU’RE GOING TO SMASH IT BABY!" followed by a heart eyes emoji and a red heart emoji.

While Abigail Rawlings added: "YAASSSSS!! Omg I’m so excited for this babyg," with a monkey covering its mouth emoji and a pink heart emoji.

Liberty isn't the only star to have been announced in the line-up for the competition show today on Tuesday 5 October though as Paralympian Stef Reid is only set to take part.

Presenter Richard Arnold shared the news on Good Morning Britain as he said: "Drum roll please… I can now reveal that joining Dancing On Ice 2022 is non other than Stef Reid!

"I tell you what I'd be DOA if I was on DOI. Here's what she had to say though…"

Stef, 36, who is a track and field Paralympian for Great Britain, then said: "I'm going to be picking up a new sport this winter that comes with a little bit of showbiz.

"I'm going to be a contestant on Dancing On Ice. And it's not only scary but I cannot wait."

The 51 year old presenter continued: "We can't wait either Stef. You'll battle it out on the ice against Corrie star Sally Dynevor, S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens and Happy Monday's legend Bez and Paul Gascoigne's son Regan as well. More celebs will be announced soon…"

Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor was the first star to be announced for Dancing On Ice.

While Bez from the band Happy Mondays was announced as the second contestant by Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on This Morning.
