Cheltenham tips: Chris Hughes gives us his best bets for day 3 of the Festival

TODAY'S the day!

It's all about Annie Mc, my pride and joy, at Cheltenham this afternoon. She's the apple of my eye and I'll raise the roof if she wins the Marsh Chase at 1.30.

This has been the plan for a very long time now and she's done absolutely everything right.

Her form stacks up very well against her own sex and it's just a case now of whether or not she can do it against the blokes.

Jonjo O'Neill thinks a lot of her and I reckon she has the ability – and a 7lb allowance certainly helps!

Mark my words, if those white and blue silks career up the run-in then you'll hear me shouting from Tewkesbury.

Obviously, she's my NAP of the day but I also have some other strong fancies later on. Paisley Park is clearly the one to beat in the Stayers' Hurdle.

I know he won't be much of a price but he's a proper old slogger whose rating is way above most of his rivals.

The place will erupt if he wins for the second time and I've got my fingers crossed he will. Don't miss Riders Onthe Storm in the Ryanair.

He's drifted a fair bit this week but I'm convinced he has plenty more in the tank under these conditions.

Sam Twiston-Davies is riding out of his skin at the moment and it would be special to see him get a Festival victory on the board.

The handicaps are devilishly difficult – as they always are – but Kilbricken Storm is a class act who has dropped to a very good mark.

Colin Tizzard has him right where he wants him and he could well land the Pertemps. However, it's all about Annie Mc. Wish me luck!
