Conor McGregor brands Khabib 'homophobic' in now-deleted X-rated Twitter rant about loss to UFC nemesis

CONOR MCGREGOR has accused his bitter rival Khabib Nurmagomedov of being 'homophobic' in a blistering Twitter rant – which has since been deleted.

Nurmagomedov announced his retirement from mixed martial arts last October after beating Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.

But the former lightweight champion's hanging up of the gloves hasn't kept him out of the crosshairs of McGregor, who is seemingly still irked by his UFC 229 defeat to the undefeated Russian.

When asked about the commentary for the fight, the biggest in UFC history, the Irishman tweeted: "Real dirty.

"I've felt the commentary wrath a few times. Imagine this was the round I had won too.

"The guy was holding onto me crying to referee saying I was breaking the rules or some shit.

"And they try and say that I said this only business s**t. Absolute horse plop."

McGregor followed up that tweet with a photo of a grappling exchange from the fight and the accompanying caption: "I wasn't holding his shorts!

"I was ramming my fingers up his homophobic ass.

"And just look at this happy face here. He loves it. He's a fingers in the booty ass bitch."

McGregor then turned his attention to Nurmagomedov's manager, Ali Abdelaziz, tweeting a picture of the Dominance MMA chief holding back The Eagle during the in-famous post-fight brawl that marred UFC 229.

He wrote: "'Oh no. He's smacking my brother and my cousin around.' hahah. Abubakar got a booboo."

McGregor's latest tirade at Nurmagomedov – who has never publicly made any homophobic comments – comes amid preparations for his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier.

The Notorious will throw down with his old featherweight rival on July 10 in the main event of UFC 264 in las Vegas.

McGregor suffered a brutal second-round KO defeat to The Diamond at UFC 257 in Abu Dhabi in January.

And the Dubliner is hellbent on ending his rivalry with the former interim lightweight champion in emphatic fashion.

He tweeted: "July 10th I will do this absolutely flawlessly. We have these clowns sussed and fully!

"They wanna play a game of tactics? No problem, see you in there.

"You’ve awoken a beast. A beast with the backing of a much higher power! Say your prayers."
