Mother slams crowds at beach despite travelling 125 MILES to get there

Mother slams huge crowds at Blackpool seafront for ‘risking everything’ during lockdown – despite travelling 125 MILES to get there

  • A Birmingham mother decided to take her children on a 215 mile trip the beach
  • The unnamed 27-year-old then filmed crowds and criticised a lack of distancing
  • Weeks prior the woman became a viral hit after visiting a beach in Wales
  • She likened the people on the Blackpool beach to being in the wrong like she was in Wales, yet failed to realise the irony of herself making the same journey
  • Here’s how to help people impacted by Covid-19

A Birmingham mum has felt the wrath of social media, after uploading a video of herself berating members of the public for being out in Blackpool… despite making the 125 mile journey herself to soak up sun on the beach.

The woman could be heard accusing people of ‘risking everything’, amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, as she filmed them on the streets of the seaside resort on Bank Holiday Monday.

Astonishingly it is the second time the woman has been circulated on social media, following a recent trip to Barmouth beach in Wales amid the pandemic lockdown, during which she filmed a confrontation with police safety officers.

Sounding audibly irate, the woman slammed a lack of social distancing on the promenade

In the footage she exchanged heated words and demanded to know why herself and her young family were being escorted from the beach, which brought about instance criticism online.

The video, which went viral when posted last week, the woman called locals a ‘bunch of b******s’ when police confront her and claims she ‘didn’t realise Wales wasn’t in England.’

This time around she made the 125-mile trip to Lancashire on Bank Holiday Monday – but returned home immediately believing it to be ‘dangerous,’ as report Birmingham Live.

The mother captured the footage while sitting in the front passenger seat of a car, driving though the tourist hotspot and later posted the video to her Facebook page.

She could be heard narrating: ‘So today we’ve come to Blackpool, just thought we’d come and take the kids for a walk.

‘Obviously I’ve had a video that’s gone viral when we went to Wales in Barmouth, and they [people online] have had a go.

The Birmingham mum captured the footage of crowded Blackpool streets while sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle, after making a 125 mile trip to take in the sun

‘But then we’ve come here today, and I’ve had loads [of abuse] online for that video. Now I’ve come to Blackpool and look at all these people.

‘Two metre distance? Where’s the two metre distance? So coronavirus is really, really getting protected right now yeah?

‘Everybody’s on the beach, but I get slandered for my video when I went to Wales. I understand I was in the wrong.

She added: ‘There’s too many people risking everything just because of the weather.

‘We’re going straight back home because this is dangerous.

‘People are moaning over sending their kids to school because of the coronavirus, but then they’re happy to bring them to a beach where there are thousands here.

‘You can’t two-metre distance on a beach. There’s too many people all walking past each other.’

Footage quickly went viral across social media, with many people re-sharing to condemn the ignorance of the mum in question.

The 27-year-old, who did not want to be named, later told BirminghamLive: ‘Blackpool was horrible as thousands were there.

‘People weren’t social distancing. We stayed five minutes and then left.

‘There were new born babies in prams and people coughing walking past.’

KATIE Price's former boyfriend Kris Boyson has sent followers foaming at the mouth after wearing body-hugging trousers in his latest Instagram picture.

The personal trainer shared the photo on social media – and got a lot of interest from his insatiable fans.

He wrote alongside the snug snap of him walking through a door: "Anyone can open a door but not everyone has the faith to walk through it!"

One female begged him to release his own calendar and commented: "I make that at least 12 🔥 photos so you had better be bringing out a calendar this year Mr B!!!"

Another pleaded: "Open that door so I can come in an see you."

One simply wrote: "Gorgeous."

One fan remarked on his comment and said: "I have faith. U look great as usual."

'Perfection', 'fit' and 'why are you so handsome?' featured in his list of compliments wearing the tight khaki tracksuit.

Ex-Love Island star Bianca got together with PT Kris' following his split from Katie Price last year and has been staying with him during lockdown.

They have regularly been spotted taking their lockdown allocated exercise in very tight workout gear.

Previous girlfriend Katie Price, 41, has spoken about Kris hooking up with Bianca while she was in rehab last year.

"I was suffering so bad when I was in the Priory and he's now found happiness with someone else, so all I can wish is him and her happiness, I want them to keep safe."

Kris is now selling the £39,000 diamond engagement ring he gave to Katie after moving on with Bianca.

Kris took it back after she cheated on him with Charles Drury.

Katie was asked on Instagram how she felt about seeing him kissing Bianca while she was in recovery.

The mum-of-five said: "All I'm going to say is I thought I was going to marry Kris… I feel really gutted what I did to Kris when I was with him, I had my reasons.

"And if I could turn back the clock, I would never have done what I did to him."

Last year, the TV personality was declared bankrupt, broke up with on/off boyfriend Kris, lost two dogs and confessed she’ll be in therapy "for the rest of her life".

She candidly shared recently: "I mean, there’s only so much I can take as a human being.

"Traumas from the exes, the media giving me a hard time with constant bull**** stories. I’ve had two dogs that have died, I even got blamed for that by the press.

"It got to the point where I literally can’t talk to anyone. My mum is terminally ill, I don’t want to stress her out. Yeah, I turned to coke and I turned to drink."

The mum-of-five has had a string of high profile relationships including, with footballer Dwight Yorke with whom she has son Harvey, ex-husbands Peter Andre and Kieran Hayler – the fathers of four of her children – Princess and Junior with Pete and Jett and Bunny with Kieran.

She's also dated the likes of racing car driver Ralf Schumacher and cage fighter Alex Reid.

But now she's turned over a new leaf Katie is determined not to let her relationships define her and would change all "the men I chose".

She told New! Magazine: "I hate the fact I let these men in the past break me and destroy me and mentally abuse me.

"But now I'm so much better. Before I would jump into relationships and I was needy without thinking about whether it was the right relationship.

"But now I've sorted myself out and I'm more assertive.

"I know what I want and I wouldn't just jump into a relationship."

Ashanti and Irv Gotti had an affair

For years, there had been speculation that Ashanti and Irv Gotti had an affair at some point early on in her career. However, after the Murder, Inc. co-founder became entangled in an FBI investigation for allegedly laundering drug money before he was acquitted, rumors of that relationship fizzled.

On an October 2019 episode of Growing Up Hip Hop: New York, Gotti, and his ex-wife, Deb Lorenzo spoke about the affair and why the record producer is no longer on good terms with many of the artists who were once signed to him.

“We were still married, but we were separated when they were dating,” Lorenzo revealed. Gotti has previously denied dating Ashanti and the singer, who is notoriously private about her personal life, has never commented on it.

“I think sometimes when people have their own insecurities it allows them to act out of character,” Ashanti said about their breakup in 2015 on The Meredith Vieira Show. “I’ve been betrayed. Again, you just have to grow. You have to grow up and accept responsibilities for the things that you do. I’m not a big fan of people being cowards. I think it’s really important to know yourself and understand what you want and get it. I’m in a different place right now.”

Why Mark Ruffalo Told Robert Downey Jr. He Shouldn't Be Cast as the MCU's Hulk

Now it’s impossible for fans to picture anyone else playing Iron Man other than Robert Downey Jr. But just as the Marvel Cinematic Universe nearly had a different Tony Stark, another actor almost starred as Bruce Banner in The Avengers. And no, we’re not talking about Edward Norton.

Rather, actor Mark Ruffalo — who has played Banner/Hulk since 2012 — initially turned down the role. Although he was later worn down, he first balked at the offer to join the MCU. And in hindsight, his hesitation makes complete sense, given Ruffalo’s career up to that point.

The Incredible Hulk is one of the only major MCU recasts

In 2008, Marvel Studios had only just rolled the dice on the potential of building to The Avengers when The Incredible Hulk hit theaters. The latter film served as a reboot of the 2003 Hulk and replaced Eric Bana with Oscar-nominated actor Edward Norton. But Norton’s relationship with Marvel soon soured, and the actor stepped away from the franchise.

Remarkably, the role of Bruce Banner is one of the few major ones Marvel has recast since the MCU’s kickoff. Like Norton, Terrence Howard came into conflict with Marvel Studios. And when it came time for Iron Man 2, Don Cheadle joined the cast as James “Rhodey” Rhodes. Over the years, the details behind both MCU recasts have gradually come to light.

But whatever the case may be, Marvel Studios needed a new actor to join writer/director Joss Whedon’s The Avengers. And both Whedon and Downey believed they had found their man in Mark Ruffalo. Downey had previously starred alongside the actor in 2007’s Zodiac, after all. All they needed to do was convince Ruffalo he could pull off the technically challenging role.

Mark Ruffalo tried to get out of joining ‘The Avengers’

Playing Banner is straigtforward enough. But the Hulk is another story. The green goliath requires heavy use of CGI and motion-capture technology to bring an actor’s performance to life. Although Ruffalo had been making movies since the early 1990s, he had never dealt with such an effects-heavy role. That’s precisely why he didn’t want to take it, Ruffalo told Variety.

I did try to talk them out of casting me. I said, “I don’t know if I’m the right guy. I’ve never done anything like this.” Between Joss and Robert, they were pretty convincing that I could do it. I was scared. I was really scared. I’m still scared. The technological aspect of it makes it really hard to work that way. I struggle with it all the time. But my motto is to make fear your friend. Just keep pushing yourself into those places where you feel scared or challenged.

Of course, casting Ruffalo worked out for everyone. His Hulk is easily the most popular among fans. And bringing on someone who hadn’t played a CGI character fed into Banner’s own anxiety and awkwardness. Moreover, Ruffalo has embraced the character’s evolution. As fans know, Banner has changed a lot since moviegoers first met Ruffalo’s version in The Avengers.

Even the actor doesn’t know what the future holds for the Hulk

Particularly with his arc in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, the Hulk has flourished as a compelling character. Much of that has to do with Ruffalo’s performance. But despite his role in saving the universe, Hulk’s next appearance remains a mystery. Ruffalo has revealed he may have a role in the upcoming Disney+ series She-Hulk though.

That show will follow Jennifer Walters, Banner’s cousin, as she develops her own Hulk-like powers. In the comics, Banner is a key part of her origin story. Since a standalone Hulk movie probably isn’t happening anytime soon, She-Hulk could be the ideal way to explore the character’s mythology. Perhaps Marvel Studios will soon confirm the plan for Hulk’s future.

Why The Yardbirds Fell Apart Despite Jimmy Page's Best Efforts

When you look back to the formation of Led Zeppelin, you have to start with The Yardbirds. After all, that where Jimmy Page developed “Dazed and Confused” and the other ideas Page described as “a textbook to work from” once he launched the Zep.

The Yardbirds, of course, are the bands where Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck also got their starts. During the group’s five years together, the core members and succession of guitar gods racked up multiple hits, delved into psychedelia, and drove a hard edge into the music of the era.

When Page came aboard in 1966, The Yardbirds had just lost bassist Paul Samwell-Smith, the second major defection following the exit of Clapton (in early ’65). At first, Page slotted in on bass, but it wasn’t long before he and Beck were dueling on lead guitars. It was an exciting time for the band.

But a few months later Beck left, too. And though Page did his best to keep The Yardbirds going, the band collapsed in ’68. A combination of a new manager, a mismatched producer, and general fatigue drove the core members out for good.

Jimmy Page’s Yardbirds had to record with a hit-making producer

To get into the collapse of The Yardbirds, you have to get into the world of shark-like ’60s producers and managers. Around the time Beck left the group, Yardbirds manager Simon Napier-Bell sold his interest in the band to Peter Grant (who’d become world-famous as Led Zeppelin’s manager).

Grant had his partner, Mickie Most, produce the group’s next album. Most made his name on the London scene long before with hits like The Animals’ “House of the Rising Sun” and Donovan’s “Sunshine Superman” (on which Page played lead).

But by early ’67 the scene was shifting to the sort of album rock Page would trot out with his Zeppelin. For his part, Most wasn’t interested in any of the Yardbirds’ experiments in psychedelia if they didn’t fit into a radio-friendly single format. So he produced the sort of singles the band hated recording.

“Mickie would always try to get us to record these horrible songs,” Page told Brad Tolinski in Light and Shade. “He would say, ‘Come on, just try it! If the song is bad, we won’t release it.’ And of course it would always get released!” This approach demoralized a band that already had its share of problems.

Singer Keith Relf and drummer Jim McCarty finally took their leave

While The Yardbirds released singles written and produced by studio craftsmen, the band toured with a slashing live act that featured an unleashed Page on guitar and his very capable bandmates behind him. (Listen to the group’s early version of “Dazed and Confused” to get an idea.)

However, the Most-produced singles flopped on the charts. That didn’t win them any defenders at the record company, and founding members Keith Relf (vocals) and Jim McCarty (drums) finally came to the end of their line. Meanwhile, bassist/guitarist Chris Dreja decided to focus on photography.

“It just got to a point where Relf and McCarty couldn’t take it anymore,” Page told Trouser Press in 1977. “They wanted to go and do something totally different.” However, the band still had some tour dates left when they departed.

So Page had to round up a singer and drummer that would play with him as The New Yardbirds. But after Robert Plant and John Bonham joined Page and John Paul Jones, they knew they had more than a fill-in band. Led Zeppelin took flight on that tour instead.

To Land The Catwoman Role In Dark Knight Rises, Anne Hathaway Dressed As A Very Different Character

When Anne Hathaway went to audition for Christopher Nolan’s DC hit The Dark Night Rises, she wasn’t actually told which character she would be testing for. So the the star decided to go dressed for a totally different role to the one in the movie. In an interview with BBC Radio 1, via IGN, Hathaway revealed that after The Dark Knight featured Joker so prominently, Hathaway assumed that the next film would mark his girlfriend Harley Quinn’s first appearance on the big screen.

“I came in and I had this lovely Vivian Westwood kind of beautiful-but-mad tailoring top with stripes going everywhere,” Hathaway said in the interview. “And I wore these flat Joker-ey looking shoes. And I was trying to give Chris these crazy little smiles.”

It was only after an hour of this that Nolan revealed he was casting for Catwoman, calling for Hathaway to make an abrupt change to her mannerisms while dressed to evoke a completely different character.

“About an hour into the meeting he said ‘Well, I’m sure I don’t have to tell you this, but it’s Catwoman,'” she related. “And I was shifting into a different gear. ‘Now OK, we’re slinky. We’re slinky. And I hate my shirt. I love my shirt, but I hate it right now. We’re slinky.'”

We all know by now that she got the part of Selena Kyle, but the DC universe would surely be very different right now if it was Hathaway who pioneered a live-action role now inextricably linked to Margot Robbie.

Hathaway is now passing the Catwoman baton to Zoe Kravitz, who will appear as Selena Kyle’s Catwoman in next year’s The Batman.
