Big Bang Theory: Who played Alice in The Big Bang Theory? Meet the Supernatural star

Over 12 years, The Big Bang Theory featured numerous guest actors and cameo appearances from some of the biggest names in Hollywood and the science world. In season five, Courtney Ford, Katie Leclerc, Amy Tolsky and Blake Berris all appeared in guest roles alongside special guest cast members Brent Spiner and Leonard Nimoy.

Who played Alice in The Big Bang Theory?

Alice was introduced in season five, episode seven of The Big Bang Theory titled The Good Guy Fluctuation.

She was played by American actress, Courtney Ford and sadly only featured for one episode.

Since appearing on The Big Bang Theory in 2007, Ford has starred in numerous films and television shows.

Ford is perhaps best known or playing Christine Hill on Dexter and Kelly Kline on Supernatural.

She has also starred in True Blood as Portia Bellefleur and Lily on Parenthood.

In 2014, Ford starred as Tonia Pyne on Murder in the First, starring alongside Sara Paxton, A.J Buckley and Mo McRae.

That same year, Ford appeared as Kate Taylor in ABC’S Revenge.

Her other television credits include Castle, CSI, The Vampire Diaries, Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds and How I Met Your Mother.

Ford has had a small role in the films Outside, Sirenia, and The Front Runner.

Fans watching The Big Bang Theory for the first time may recognise her from the new DC series Legends of Tomorrow.

In Legends of Tomorrow, she plays Nora Darhk, the daughter of Neal McDonough’s Damien Darhk.

Viewers may also recognise Ford for her role as Lily on Parenthood and Tonia Pyne on Murder in the First.

Ford is married to actor Brandon Routh and they have one son Leo James Routh together.

Who was Alice? What happened to her?

In the synopsis for The Good Guy Fluctuation, Alice was desired as a “cute and artsy downtown girl.”

She met Leonard (played by Johnny Galecki) at the comic book store, where they bonded over their shared love for comic books.

In a lucky turn of events for Leonard, Alice gave him her number but Leonard was in a relationship at the time with Priya (Aarti Mann).

Despite having a girlfriend, Leonard invited Alice over to his apartment where they shared drawings.

Leonard showed her a drawing Jim Lee drew of him at Comic-Con and in return, Alice shared a comic strip she drew based on her life, including her having sex with half of Chewbacca.

Afterwards, Leonard and Alice kissed and she swapped her comic for Leonard’s Hellboy comic.

Leonard then found himself in a sticky situation, unable to decide whether he wanted to date Alice or Priya.

He decided to date Alice behind Priya’s back but in the end, his guilty conscience got the better of him.

Leonard confessed to Alice he had a girlfriend and she threw him out of her apartment.

He then called Priya to tell her the truth and she instantly forgave him, revealing she had been also seeing her ex-boyfriend at the same time.

Leonard decided to call time on his relationship with Priya, ending up alone once again.

The Good Guy Fluctuation was the last time viewers seen Alice.

Elsewhere in the episode, Sheldon (Jim Parsons) tried to get revenge on his friends after they pulled a Halloween prank on him but he ultimately failed until the very last second, when he jumped out in front of Leonard from behind the couch, dressed as a zombie.
