Ex-Teen Mom Farrah Abraham claims show’s ‘ratings tanked’ and boasts she’s the ONLY star who ‘overcame teen pregnancy’ – The Sun
FIRED Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham slammed show ratings and claimed she is the only cast member who "overcame teen pregnancy" in her latest TikTok video.
Farrah, 28, acted out her 2017 Teen Mom OG firing with her daughter Sophia, 11, who played the part of executive producer Morgan Freeman.
The reality star was fired from the series over of her alleged harsh treatment of the crew and because of her appearance in X-rated webcam videos.
The reality star captioned the video: "Nothing like a great #teenmom cameo on TikTok. Maybe this is why the ratings tanked even with everyone stuck at home, sports canceled & cbs can’t save it… for all wrongfully fired who are over achievers this is a sign others can’t grow with you & respect you.”
The TikTok video kicked off with text that read: “Wrongfully fired by a male on Teen Mom… this is how women are wrongfully fired everyday.”
Sophia said in the scene that aired in 2017: “I think we want to look into how certain people are treated. Do you feel like you respect the people around you trying to make the show.”
Farrah responded: “I respect a lot of people who respect me.”
Sophia said: “Right but you do have very little compassion or empathy for other people. There has to be respect for the crews and for our producers. The amount of work that goes into keeping you happy with the crew has bubbled up to a point…”
Text then popped up on the video that read: “Cutting a woman with your own negative opinions.”
When Sophia said: “Out of nine moms you’re the only one that’s a problem,” text read: “I’m the only 1 out of 10 who overcame the struggles of Teen pregnancy.”
Farrah ended the video saying: “I am so understanding I am working my a** off just like everyone.”
Months after the firing, Farrah sued MTV for $5 million for harassment and wrongful termination.
The lawsuit was dropped a month later after she and MTV reached a settlement.
Farrah continues to be on the outs with her TMOG co-stars Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell.
She has also slammed new stars Cheyenne Floyd, Bristol Palin, who quit after one season, and Mackenzie McKee.
And Farrah is right about ratings, as many viewers tuned out after her firing.
Ratings reached over one million viewers when she was on the long-running series.
On the season premiere that featured Cheyenne and Bristol, 957,000 viewers tuned in.
For the most recent season, 859,000 watched the March 17 premiere.
Ratings for this week’s episode decreased to 704,000 viewers.
