Former Saturdays singer Una Healy heartbroken after split from boyfriend David Breen after a year together – The Sun

UNA HEALY will be hoping heartache inspires a triumphant ADELE-style breakup album . . . as she is single once again.

I can reveal Una has split from her Irish boyfriend David Breen, a professional hurler, after a year together.

The former Saturdays singer had hoped David was The One, having dumped her love-rat ex-husband and dad of her two kids, Ben Foden, in July 2018 for cheating on her.

But while the former rugby international has remarried — and new wife  Jackie Belanoff Smith is already pregnant —  Una has kicked her latest romance into touch.

A source said: “Una and David have ended things in recent weeks following a  holiday to Zanzibar. It was a mutual decision — they realised they are at very different stages of their lives and were struggling to make things work properly.

“She is a mum and ultimately they decided they wanted different things. But Una is keeping positive.

“She has deleted recent photos of them together from her Instagram account and is looking forward to turning over a new leaf.”

Una went public with David in December 2018, five months after she ended her six-year marriage to Ben.

This new separation comes as a shock.

Una moved last year from Northampton to live closer to David in Birmingham and things appeared to be going well on their recent getaway in East Africa.

Una revealed in September: “We’re not living together but we live down the road from each other, so we see each other very regularly.

“I just wanted to get out of that town I was in, so he introduced me to the town I’m in now and it’s one of the most beautiful towns in the UK.

“I’m really happy there now.”

Una has a lot going for her, with a great voice, lovely family and plenty of admirers.

She’ll have no problem finding someone else.
