Maura Higgins ‘being lined up’ for Celebs Go Dating after Curtis Pritchard split

Dancing On Ice beauty Maura Higgins is reportedly high on the list for the next series of Celebs Go Dating , after she confirmed she'd split from her Love Island boyfriend Curtis Pritchard .

The 29-year-old confirmed the break-up on her Instagram, and now that she's back on the market it seems she's highly in demand.

Maura is reportedly being lined up for Celebs Go Dating – the same show Curtis' other ex Amy Hart is currently looking for love on.

A source said: "Maura is exactly what Celebs Go Dating is all about.

"She's fun, feisty and is guaranteed to offer loads of entertainment for viewers."

The source continued to the Sun: "Now she's single she's free to do what she wants and this could be the perfect show for her to finally move on from Curtis."

Maura confirmed she was single on Instagram earlier this week, taking to her Story with a statement.

It read: "Curtis and I have made the decision to separate.

"We enjoyed a great experience from our time in the villa and want to thank everyone for supporting our relationship.

"There is no easy way to get through a break-up and no bad feeling on either side.

"We tried to make it work but it wasn't to be and I wish Curtis nothing but the best for the future."

Maura and Curtis first got together after he split from Amy Hart in the Love Island villa.

The couple made it to last summer's finale though confirmed their split yesterday – however they reportedly called it quits months ago.

According to The Sun, the couple were pressured to stick together to carry out work commitments that they'd already signed up for.

A source told the publication: "When they met on Love Island it was genuine. But when the showbiz treadmill started on the outside, it was a sham."

Maybe Maura will be able to take some tips from Amy if she does sign up for the next series of Celebs Go Dating.

The current series airs nightly at 9pm on E4
