Megan Barton-Hanson lined up for awkward Towie reunion with ex Demi Sims after she's spotted kissing James Lock

MEGAN Barton-Hanson is being lined up for an awkward Towie reunion with ex Demi Sims after snogging James Lock.

It has been reported that the 27-year-old Love Island star is set to join the ITVBe reality show – with her love life sparking potentially uncomfortable viewing.

While she and 34-year-old James appear to be very much into each other, having been spotted enjoying a passionate kiss in London at the weekend, she also has history with Pete Wicks and Demi.

Speaking to OK! a source explained: "James and Megan are having a bit of fun. It's nothing serious, they both like each other and are enjoying spending time together. He's definitely got his hands full with her, but he's said he's into her.

"There's already rumours about her going on TOWIE and obviously that would be very awkward for her ex, Demi. She was also linked to Pete Wicks at one point so it could all make very tense viewing."

The Sun have contacted Towie for comment.

It is believed that sparks started to fly between Megan and James after they met while filming Ex On The Beach, and we previously revealed that James' Towie ex Yazmin Oukhellou had pulled out of the MTV reality show at the last minute.

Speaking about their saucy smooch, an insider told us at the weekend: "Megan and James looked inseparable. You couldn't have squeezed a cigarette paper between the two of them.

"They were clearly having a great time and seemed very taken with each other."

After splitting from Yazmin in February, James had a casual fling with The Only Way Is Essex's Chloe Brockett, but the pair have insisted they are only friends.

Meanwhile, Megan revealed in December that she was open to dating men once again after enjoying brief relationships with Chelcee Grimes, and Demi – who she split from in 2019.

She said of her sexuality: "It's not about the sex of the person, if you have that connection and you find someone's qualities attractive then it doesn't matter what gender they are.

"I just want to someone that adds to my life and is super open, funny and accepts what I do and supports me. Whether that's male or female, they need to be aligned with how I feel."
