Olivia Attwood has shared a throwback snap of her teenage self – and revealed that her mum wasn’t a big fan of her look back in the day.

In OK!’s exclusive teaser clip from the first episode of the new series of Olivia Meets Her Match, the 29-year-old shows her make-up artist what she looked like when the eyebrow trend was to have them extremely thin and over-plucked.

And it’s not long before Olivia’s mum has her say, as the former Love Islander jokingly brings up that she used to describe her appearance as "disgusting".

During a frank conversation as Olivia is having her make-up done, her mum asks if bigger eyebrows are a “new fad".

As Olivia confirms that bushy eyebrows are back in fashion, she says: “Do you remember when I was younger and the fashion was the super thin brow?”

Taking out her phone, Olivia shows her make-up artist and the reality show cameras the throwback snap, saying: “That was my eyebrows when I was a teenager.”

And it’s safe to say Olivia looks totally different from the star we know today, as her make-up artist looks shocked and asks: “Who the hell is she?"

Olivia then reveals that her mum didn’t like the look she went for, as she explains: “You used to always say to me, ‘you look disgusting’.”

She adds: “I always thought, ‘what a horrible mother!’ But you were right!”

As her mum denies that ever happened, Olivia laughs as she says that that wasn’t the only thing her mum would say about her appearance.

She reveals: “I used to come down the stairs [ready] for a night out and you used to rip me to shreds and go, ‘you look like a street walker.’”

Soon, Jenny gives her side of the story in the jokey confrontation and explains: “Yes, I did say that you looked like a prostitute and to get upstairs and get changed – that is true.”

These scenes air in the first episode of the brand new series of Olivia’s ITVBe show, which follows her life with footballer fiancé Bradley Dack.

The latest instalment picks back up with the couple as they approach a life-changing move, and their wedding date hangs in the balance.

Olivia Meets Her Match airs at 9pm on Wednesdays on ITVBe. Episodes are also available to watch on the ITV Hub.
