TOWIE star Junaid shares update on BFF Yazmin Oukhellou following horror crash | The Sun

TOWIE newbie Junaid Ahmed , 27, has shared an update on his best friend Yazmin Oukhellou, following her horror car crash in Turkey.

Yazmin, 28, was in a crash that killed her boyfriend Jake McLean and left her with serious arm injuries.


The grief and shock have left the TOWIE star needing to sleep side-by-side with her mum Lisa, who had flown out to Turkey immediately after the tragedy to be by her daughter’s hospital bedside.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun at the Reality TV Awards, Junaid shared: “Yes she’s doing well! She’s in the best place that she can be.”

Junaid was amongst the stars rushing to ask for prayers for TOWIE star Yazmin after the tragic crash she was involved in.

Junaid shared a snap of himself and Yazmin to his Instagram Stories writing: "Love you …my beautiful girl".

Yazmin has since been seen looking downcast upon her return to the UK from Turkey.

Yaz wore a black vest top, black trousers and sunglasses – while her right arm was in a dark blue sling.

The reality star looked uncomfortable as she adjusted the strap on her shoulder.

She was also seen speaking on her phone as she walked through the high street.

The TV star had suffered injuries to her right arm in the horror crash that happened in Bodrum earlier this month.

Following the accident, Yaz pulled herself from the overturned Mercedes and climbed from a ditch then desperately waved down passing cars nearby.

A man pulled over and helped Yazmin, whose arm was bleeding, then called emergency services who tried to save Jake.

They careered around 70ft from the road as they went round a bend, plunging 30ft into a ditch at 4.30am on Sunday while driving from seaside tourist resort Bodrum.
