TOWIE’s Pete Wicks doesn’t want ‘boring’ Mark Wright back for 10-year reunion

TOWIE star Pete Wicks has declared Mark Wright a persona non grata at the show's 10-year anniversary, labelling him "boring", nine years after he quit the show that made him famous.

This year marks the ITVBe reality show's 10-year anniversary, and some of the most-loved stars are set to return – though current cast member Pete says Mark wouldn't be a good choice, despite him being one of the OGs.

Pete said: "I would most like to see Joey Essex back. It would be great to have him back, I get on really well with Joe.

"Surely he'd be the one that most people would like to see back?

"Mark likes to distance himself now doesn't he…? It's a bit more unlikely. He's boring."

Speaking of new Celebs Go Dating star Amy Childs, Pete added to MailOnline: "Amy Childs is always a laugh, she'd be a good one to come back. Everyone has played their part in it over the years."

Mark, as well as Amy, were original cast members on the Essex reality show when it started in 2010, alongside other now-household names such as Sam and Billie Faiers, James Argent, Lauren Goodger, Lydia Bright and Lucy Mecklenburgh.

Joey joined the show in its second series in 2011, as well as the iconic Gemma Collins, with viewers rising by around 50% up to an average of 1.5million.

There are still the classic personalities such as Pete, Chloe Sims, Bobby Cole-Norris and James "Diags" Bennewith.
