Extraordinary ways Epstein's lawyer ‘tried to erase Bill Clinton's links to paedo tycoon when Hillary ran for President’

LAWYERS for disgraced paedo Jeffrey Epstein tried to cover up his links to former US President Bill Clinton when his wife Hillary was running for the Oval Office in 2016, new reports have claimed.

Two former employees of the late financier, who died in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019, were allegedly contacted by Epstein's lawyer in the run-up to the election as Hillary faced off against Donald Trump.

Darren Indyke, who represented Epstein for 20 years, is said to have contacted Miles and Cathy Alexander, who had been residential managers of so-called "Paedo Island", his private Caribbean retreat.

The pair were then presented with a sworn affidavit declaring they had never seen Bill Clinton at Little St James, the MailOnline reports.

Indyke oversaw Epstein's businesses and charitable foundations, as well as acting as executor of his estate.

Friends of the Alexanders allege that in 2006, Miles was asked to meet Indyke and bring him all the arrival and departure records for Little Saint James and hand them over.

He reportedly reached out to them again in 2016, asking them to "confirm" that Clinton had "never visited during their tenure and they were not aware of him having been a guest during any absences from the island, for example for holidays," according to a source.

They went on to say that there were fears "the link between Epstein and Clinton and in particular the island could be used against Hillary," in the presidential campaign.

Alleged visits by the former Commander-in-Chief to Epstein's island could be reexamined this year after Prince Andrew lost his attempt to have his civil sex assault action brought against him by one of the billionaire's former "slaves" Virginia Giuffre.

Giuffre, then known as Roberts, alleges the under-fire Duke of York sexually abused her on the island, and also met Clinton there in the company of two "young girls".

Both men have denied Roberts' claims. The Sun has approached the Duke of York and President Clinton for comment.

Meanwhile, Indyke faces a civil complaint in the US Virgin Islands over allegations he and Epstein's co-executor Richard Kahn were "indispensable captains" in his vast sex-trafficking operations.

It also accuses them of helping the financier in three sham marriages and flying victims to Little St James before 2017.

Indyke has also been named as a defendant in 30 lawsuits filed by women against Epstein's estate in his capacity as an administrator.

Clinton denies ever being on Little St James or having any knowledge of Epstein's crimes.

Official visitor logs from Clinton's first presidential term indicate that Epstein, who donated to the Democrats, visited the White House at least 17 times between 1993 and 1995.

His notorious "little black book" of contacts contained no fewer than 21 telephone numbers for Clinton and several email addresses.

A bizarre portrait of the president in a blue cocktail dress and red high heels even hung in Epstein's £60m Manhattan townhouse.

Between February 2002 and November 2003, Clinton appears as a passenger on flight logs for Epstein's private aircraft fleet a total of 26 times.

The link between Epstein and Clinton and in particular the island could be used against Hillary

In 2016, one of Epstein's pilots, David Rogers, gave a deposition as part of Roberts' defamation case against Maxwell, indicating that he had flown Clinton and Andrew on at least two occasions on one of his planes.

Rogers added that, in February 2002, he flew Clinton, Epstein, Maxwell, and 'Prince Andrew' from Miami to New York on board the financier's 'Lolita Express'.

"I have a picture of me and the crew with Bill Clinton on the plane," he said. "To the best of my knowledge, it was the first time that we had flown him."

He also alleged that in July 2002 he flew from Morocco to New York with Epstein, Maxwell, Clinton, and Andrew as well.

However, the allegation that Andrew was on either of these flights is disputed, and it is possible Rodgers misread the initials 'AP' on flight logs as 'Andrew, Prince'. Adam Perry Lang, Epstein's chef, had similar initials.

But the pilot insisted that it wasn't impossible Clinton and Andrew travelled on the same flights at some point.

Now, with Andrew set to face further questioning about his relationship with Maxwell, the tangled web connecting the Duke to Epstein's shady world is set to face further scrutiny.

When Epstein was charged with fresh paedo offences in 2019, Clinton's office issued a statement about the ex-president's alleged links.

It said: "In 2002 and 2003, President Clinton took a total of four trips on Jeffrey Epstein's airplane: one to Asia and two to Africa, which included stops in connection with the work of the Clinton Foundation."

On one of those trips, he travelled with disgraced actor Kevin Spacey. Also present on the trip was Epstein's masseuse Chauntae Davies, who recently claimed she was raped by Epstein and that he and Maxwell had "destroyed her life".

Davies, who was recruited by Maxwell aged 21, was pictured giving Clinton a neck massage during the trip. She has said the former president behaved correctly towards her.

Epstein was first investigated over paedophile claims in 2006 and jailed for 18 months in 2008. But despite this, the Clinton's maintained ties with Maxwell, even inviting her to Chelsea Clinton's wedding in 2010.

In a memoir she started writing in 2011 under the working title 'The Billionaire Boys' Club, Roberts makes a number of shocking allegations, including that she was pressured to have sex with Andrew on three occasions, twice when she was underage.

She wrote: "The next big dinner party on the island had another significant guest… Sitting across the table from us was Bill [Clinton] with two lovely girls who were visiting from New York. Bill's wife Hillary's absence from the night made it easy for his apparent provocative cheeky side to come out."

Roberts went on: "[After dinner,] Jeffrey wanted his evening massage before bed… leaving our guest of honour to find company elsewhere. Strolling into the darkness with two beautiful girls around either arm, Bill seemed content to retire for the evening."

Clinton has denied ever being on the island, while Maxwell also described the claims as a "fabrication".
