Stranger clobbers woman in savage attack in Brooklyn, video shows
A woman was randomly attacked by a stranger in Brooklyn, disturbing surveillance footage released by cops Thursday shows.
The 28-year-old victim was walking down Rockwell Place in Fort Greene at 10:45 p.m. on Feb. 21st when she sensed the man following her from the DeKalb subway stop, police said.
Before she could enter a building near Fulton Street, the man yelled “F–k you b–ch!” and threw a black plastic bag at the back of her head before running away, cops said. The woman refused medical attention at the scene.
It was unclear what may have provoked the man or what was in the bag.
He was last seen wearing black sneakers and a khaki green sweatshirt. Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
